The Embassy of Algeria participated, on 3 October 2026, in the activities of the Sixth (6th) edition of the Diplomatic Fun Fair, which brought together twenty-seven (27) diplomatic missions and four (4) consulates accredited to Zambia. The event provided an opportunity to showcase various elements of Algeria’s cultural and heritage identity through an exhibition of traditional clothing, pottery items and artworks. The Embassy also took the opportunity to distribute brochures on the “Study in Algeria” initiative, as well as to display a promotional board featuring all destinations served by Air Algérie. In addition, a selection of traditional Algerian dishes and pastries was offered to visitors, which received considerable appreciation and attracted strong interest from participants attending this cultural event. The Guest of Honour, Mr. Evans Muhanga, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, representing the Vice President, as well as a number of Ambassadors who visited the Algerian stand, commended the cultural diversity showcased through Algeria’s participation in the event.
