Ambassador Tewfik MAHI participated today as a guest of honour, in the opening session of a conference on agricultural development in Zambia, held under the theme of the “Farmers Choice Africa Awards 2026.”
The event was attended by the Chief Executive Officer of the organizing company, the head of the Kenyan parliamentary delegation currently visiting Zambia (Chairperson of the Committee on Trade, Industry and Cooperatives), as well as officials from the Ministries of Agriculture and Commerce and the Zambia Development Agency.
During the session, the Ambassador delivered a lecture in which he highlighted the significant progress achieved by Algeria’s agriculture and Agrifood Industry sectors, thanks to sustained efforts in training, industrial development, innovation, support for small and medium-sized enterprises, and financing.
He also underscored Algeria’s emergence as a continental economic power. In this regard, Mr. MAHI reaffirmed Algeria’s readiness to further promote bilateral cooperation in this field
