The 25th edition of the International Tourism and Travel Fair officially opened today, 18 May 2026, under the theme “Algeria: Authentic Tourism and Sustainable Development,” in the presence of the Minister of Tourism Development, Culture and Handicrafts of the Republic of Chad, as his country participates as the guest of honour.
This edition witnessed the participation of 450 exhibitors from within Algeria and abroad, as well as 50 start-ups specialized in the digital promotion of Algerian tourism products. In the same context, exploratory tours of tourist landmarks were organized in Oran, Algiers, Annaba, and Tlemcen for representatives from 59 countries, including journalists and operators in the tourism sector.
