
Accreditation of professional journalists working for a foreign entity to cover the Algerian Legislative Elections on 02 July 2026.
As part of the preparations for the Legislative Elections on July 02, 2026,
and in accordance with the provisions of the Ordinance No. 21-01 of March 10,
2021, on the law related to the electoral system, amended and supplemented,
and the Executive Order No. 14-152 of April 30, 2014, establishing the
procedures for accrediting professional journalists working for a foreign entity,
and the decision N° 288 of June 4, 2026, of the President of the National
Independent Authority for Elections (ANIE) concerning the procedures for
accrediting professional journalists working for a foreign entity, the ANIE informs
professional journalists of Algerian or foreign nationality who are to work in
Algeria for a foreign entity, for the purpose of covering the upcoming the Legislative Elections, that the accreditation request must be submitted to the Algerian
diplomatic mission or consular representation of the country where the
employer's headquarters are located from June 04, 2026, to June 20, 2026, by
submitting the following supporting documents :
1. A request from the employer of the professional journalist;
2. A filled in information form requesting for temporary accreditation available
on the ANIE website: www.ina-eIections.dz (http://www.ina-eIections.dz)
3. A visa application form available on the website of the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and the National Community Abroad and Algerian diplomatic and
consular representations abroad, duly completed by the applicant
4. A photocopy of the applicant's professional card
5. Two (02) passport-sized photos
5. A photocopy of the applicant's passport
